• Consultation on harmonised classification and labelling

  We are looking for comments on the harmonised classification and labelling proposal for:

  • N,N-dicyclohexylbenzothiazole-2-sulphenamide (EC 225-625-8, CAS 4979-32-2).

• New proposal to harmonise classification and labelling

  A proposal has been submitted for: 

  • nicosulfuron (ISO); 2-{[(4,6-dimethoxypyrimidin-2-yl)carbamoyl]sulfamoyl}-N,N-dimethylpyridine-3-carboxamide (EC -, CAS 111991-09-4).

Biocides:

Consultation on ethanol as a candidate for substitution

We have launched a consultation to find potential safer alternatives to:

• ethanol (EC 200-578-6, CAS 64-17-5) for product-types 1, 2 and 4.

European Commission:

Biocides – decision on active substance

The Commission has decided not to approve the active substance:

• 5-chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (CIT) for product-type 6.
